Due by Small Group Meeting
Create your student site for this class for a completion grade.
Instructions:
- Go to http://students.weebly.com then enter your username and password from the attachment to the email I sent. I tried to keep usernames the same as your USF ID when possible, but some were taken.
- After you log in, you'll be asked to enter the name of your site. I'd like you to enter your name or username here so that I can easily identify each student's site.
- Under the tab "Pages" click "Add blog." The page name should remain "Blog." You can then click on the home page tag and delete it if you choose.
- Click "Save settings."
- On your blog page, click "create new post." Then, from the top, drag down the box that says "paragraph" and type the words "This is a test" in the paragraph block.
- Click "publish post." If it prompts you to enter a website name, use your username.
- Under the author section on the right side of the page, write something brief about yourself. Limit it to your year, your hometown, your major, and a hobby or two. Remember that this site will be password protected, so no one outside of the class will be able to access it.
- Feel free to play with some of the design features of the site. It's pretty self-explanatory, and you are welcome to have an additional page. Try and keep the blog page at the top under the list of pages to make it accessible.
- When you're done, click the orange "Publish" button on the top right side of the page.
- Note: if you want to change your password to access weebly, go back to www.students.weebly.com and click account settings. Everyone currently has the same password, and it's a good idea to change yours to something unique that you'll remember.
